So after finding a flat, with exotic roomates, I started to look for a job...made some resume in spanish, with doubtful and stupid job references (I couldn't give my "normal" resume for a waiter or french teacher job).,and started to look on the web, and making bar and resto tour to give my resume.

and after a week found nothing but a contact throuh american tourists I met at a disco...one of them is a friend of the owner of a french restaurant. I finally met this guy at another party...and he told me to come on the next week to the restaurant to talk about it ! once there he proposed me to make a "test" for a few evenings as bartender to see if it was ok for me and for them. The problem is that the week before, he just took another guy to do the job (a swiss guy who's travelling as well), and he thought this guy would get tired of it...but it wasn't the case, and after telling me to wait, then to come a day, then cancel it the day before, I had to realized that indeed they don't need more people...so I was still without a job.
Thinking about it, it's no really a big deal, since a waiter un buenos aires (complete time) earns like 350€ a month!! with the tips you con arrive at 700...youpi!
French teacher ? I could have found some stuff if I had stayed longer there,no big deal either, one hour class is paid 4€ !!

One could imagine...ok wages are shit...but that's because life must be cheap as well !
for my room I pay 300€ a month (I could have found cheaper though), when I go to the supermarket, except for the meat, prices are almost the same than Spain...still bar and restaurant are cheaper, but com'on, so how do they live?
Honestly I haven't really find the answer yet...some have several jobs, some earn better their life, some deal with other busineses, some are corrupted...and some are just very poor (more than 25% of the population)

I didn't really doubt about it, but yes Argentina is not the El Dorado, even if everyone agree here that the living conditions now are much better than after the crisis.

So what am I gonna do with my "extratime" ? sencilly starting to really visit the city and surroundings, go out, enjoy, and work as a volunteer for a non profit organization.

Don't cry for me Buenos Aires
